Everyone needs friends,but the standard of choosing a friend is quite different for different people.Some people think that we shoud make friends who are similar to us , for that such reliable Friends have the common interests like us.Although this is true, I would love to choose friends who are quite complementary to me. In my view, a less similar friend will bring you more experience than a similar one.First  reson why i choose friends who are quite different to me is because making frends who are complementary tho me help me with my study.Imaging that you have a friend who is good at math while you do well in english . Both of you can learn from each other and help each other ,which can be said that learn from other’s  strong point to make up your deficiencies.

Secondly,Friends constantly offer excitement and new ideas. If a friend is similar to you, both of you will focus on observing the same thing and do something you feel interesting. However, you can not offer each other some experiences diversity. In comparing, a distinguish friend can make you do something you have never tried before. This new experience will bring you enormous excitement. Your relationship may form solid because of the fresh experience. In addition, as so similar you are, there is not significant meaning to exchange your ideas with your similar friends because you have alike value of live to form the similar judgment. This process of exchanging ideas must be boring. However, a friend who is different from you may offer you some distinguish opinions and approaches.

All in all, individual’s mind is fairly limited. People should keep learning from other persons during their lives. It rarely can learn so much from similar friend. Learning from different friends cultivate an unknown field. You will find many things you have never met and gain some precious experiences from them. The learning process will make you more wisely.
